Every December I want to do all the festive things. It’s just the time to get creative, with some easy DIY gifts for the grandparents, homemade decorations, kid-made Christmas cards, holiday baking… the list just goes on!
I’d say it’s all for the kids, but that just wouldn’t be true…
Just occasionally however, when time is short and patience is waning, it’s better to take an easier route.
I’m all for eliminating the potential chaos and cleanup – when my lot were little, we came back to these no-mess toddler activities time and time again.
If you hear me, then you need this round up of mess-free Christmas activities for kids aged 3, 4 and 5!
There are no-mess activities and crafts that are doable without paint pots, glue puddles or glitter finding its way places you never thought were accessible…
There are free printable Christmas activities, sticker and felt crafts, ornaments, sealed sensory bottles and a few posting and building games for the littlest ones.
There are a few which need a glue stick – clearly marked if even that’s a step too far!
All in all, these are lovely easy Christmas activities for kids to try at home, at daycare or in the classroom.

Strips of washi tape build the tree, present stickers go underneath.
Peeling tape is weirdly hard for small fingers, which is exactly why it’s good for them!
